Stayed at #60, close to bathroom and water across the road. Didn’t rate excellent due to the fact they need more bathhouses, had to wait for showers.

I had nothing but electrical problems for four days. Either my surge protector was kicking off their electricity, or the breaker was flipping. I won’t be coming back. I have been to Brady Mountain on this lake which is also a Corps of Engineers park and had no trouble.

Bend Road. Turn right and follow access road 2.4 miles north to park.

Road. Turn left and follow access road 2.4 miles north to the park.
Tompkins Bend is accessible via US 270, which is approximately 10.7 miles from Mount Ida and 24.5 miles from Hot Springs.

Policies & Rules
General
- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Check-Out time is 4pm and Check-In time is 6pm
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
