The campsites are all level and have great views of Lake Ouachita, one of the most beautiful places around.

Needs trees cut around campsite! Barely got our camper in space, couldn’t open awning, door opened to large pine tree. Sites are right on top of each other.

We have camped here many times and have never been unhappy.. The restaurant always has great service and the best pie around. The camping area is well maintained.

Tompkins Bend is accessible via US 270, which is approximately 10.7 miles from Mount Ida and 24.5 miles from Hot Springs.

Policies & Rules
General
- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Check-Out time is 4pm and Check-In time is 6pm
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
