Nice shaded park. Water hookups were a little confusing but we found them on the ground by the electrical plugins. Fair cell phone service. Park roads could’ve used signage to show numbers of campsites and loops. Otherwise, very nice!

You can’t go wrong with a campsite at Townsend! We had a fishing boat that was easy to beach on the shore. Our site was easy to get into with a cement pad. The lake is stunning! Great times for our kayak friends and hubby who caught big bass.

Very beautiful area! Camping spaces are nice and maintained. Right on the water. Our only complaint are the restroom and showers. Very out dated. They don't clean them regularly. Even thought the restrooms and shower weren't great, We will be back.

General
- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Check-Out time is 4pm and Check-In time is 6pm
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
