The campsites are awesome and several are close the lake where you can tie your boat up, level pads, lots of shade, showers and bathrooms on every loop! The campground hosts/ attendants and rangers are top notch and very helpful when needed!

Campground was well maintained other than some dead limbs in trees need to be removed as they are a hazard especially when storms too thru !!!!! Several dead limbs fell during a storm and caused damage to some campers and vehicles!!! Luckily no one was injured!!!!! Campground hosts were amazing. I wish there was a designated swimming area as well

Beautiful place, VERY SPACIOUS. The squirrels are extremely smart here and can get into anything. That’s really my only complaint.

Always loved going to Tompkins Bend. Been doing it for years at exact spot. This year, we were told we could not use generators even though we had used them in the past. The other issue this year was all the ticks. Everyone was covered.
