Cowhide Cove had a campground host who was friendly and proactive. The campground was mostly used by people who had boats. It was quiet and peaceful and kept extremely clean -- the maintenance crew was there every day. The bath house was nice and very clean, too. There was a sand beach and the boat ramp area was large. I camped near the front of the campgrounds in space 38 with full hook-ups. I really enjoyed my stay. I camped in a 25-foot trailer there for 20 days. I would gladly camp there again!

Great park. Bathrooms were clean. Showers had hot water, good water pressure and had a separate changing area from the shower area. Park was clean and mowed in all areas. 2 trash cans are close to all camping sites. Nice beach and swimming area with easy access. Camp host was friendly and helpful. If not in the building at entry, their campsite is across the road and he immediately came over to check us in. Our site was a pull-thru, but back-in sites looked easy to get into. You can use any downed trees or brush for campfires although you have to cut your own logs to length.

Always love camping here! Would like for lower loop of new cowhide to at least have bathroom. Showers were hit or miss this time … usually hot and great water pressure but was sketchy this trip.

RV site pretty small. It was somewhat wet on arrival then more rain 2 days later on trip. Not a big deal except the site was grass and a little gravel. Allowed the camper to not be level. Other than that, everything went ok.
