I love the trails at Shoal Bay. Lots of boating and fishing here. The sites are a little bit close in some areas. Very well maintained and the hosts were friendly and accommodating.

The park was easy to find and we we're greeted by friendly staff at the gate. Our campsite was in the far corner of the park and was what you would expect. The facilities were mostly clean. The hiking trail was nice and great for beginners. Downsides are, there are locals who came and parked right next to the playground and sat on their tailgate drinking, smoking, using very foul language and let their kids bully other kids. Also apparently there is no speed limits on the water. Kayaking with my young kids was impossible do to fisherman racing back and forth leaving huge wakes.

Lovely little par. We were in spot E4, nice and long, level enough for our 40' MH. While some lakeside CG's get loud and roudy on the weekend, this place was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Our first trip here will not be our last! What a great, hidden gem. Very clean and peaceful. Workers were friendly but left you alone. There’s a dollar store right up the road, a small mid-day diner, and one of the best stocked liquor stores I’ve ever seen in a small, rural area. The only negative, and I hate to use that term, was some very unlevel sites. We made a list, however, of the level sites so that we will know which ones to pick next time.

It was so relaxing and quiet during Labor Day weekend. My family and I always book in advance on your website and it's so much better. Hiking, fishing and boating. There is two boat ramps at this location.

Excellent location and big rig friendly. The staff was great at the check in area. I give this park a 5 star!

Love this campground. Just wish they had more 50 amp sites. Hosts were great. Loved being able to ride my bike around the park, hike the trails, fish and kayak or just sit and watch the scenery. Definitely will be back.
