Check in was very easy even with the pandemic. Gate guard has a window so we didn't have to get out of our vehicle. Gary, gate guard ,is always willing to help in any way. He has stopped by when we were setting up to see if he can be of any help. He has helped us when we are dumping at the gate also. Shoal Bay is one of our favorite places to camp. We usually take our boat to fish. This camping grounds is well kept with 3 bathrooms, it has 2 group shelters, 2 boat docks and a small swimming area. it does have a nice place to fish from the bank also. It has a walking trail and you can see deer sometimes. We enjoy meeting new people from all over Arkansas here!

We love to stay at Shoal Bay. It is a beautiful place & Shirley & Gary at the gatehouse
are always helpful. We wish that Shoal Bay would stay open the whole month of November.
It is a great time to camp in Arkansas!
