One of our favorite campgrounds. Plus side, the roads thru the park are in good shape and the fellow that takes care of cleaning the bathrooms and campsites is always on top of things. The newer bathrooms are nice and kept clean with an older building that is clean but just a little outdated.
Negatives: We are never able to get antennae TV at this campground but I like it that way. There was an unusual number of dogs being allowed to roam the park and one camper had 5 or more dogs chained to trees a short distance from their campsite for several nights in the heat.
Still one of our favorites and we will be back!

I go to Shoal Bay alot, love the area and the site. If I had any complaint it would be concerning the number of 50 amp sites available. There are only 10 usable 50 amp sites. Many times I have had to reserve 30 amp site and when I arrive there will be several of the 50's taken up with tents and/or small campers.
