What Guests Are Saying
Aux Arc park offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious sites and friendly attendants. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views of the Arkansas River, and proximity to local amenities, including dining and shopping in Ozark. While some noted noise from trains and occasional inconsiderate neighbors, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Loved camping at Withrow Springs. Very well kept. Will be even better when the storm damage is cleared from the trails and they open back up. Suggest figuring out a way to update the camp area to have WiFi access since the cell service is so bad. Would be nice to have the peace of mind to be able to track inclement weather

Nice looking park with shade. I would say overall average. A big problem for me is the water in the men's shower at the end of F row was so hot with no control to the point where it could not be use. Two shower heads were missing all together. I did report the problem the first morning I was there and stayed 9 days. The problem was never addressed. I expect better than that from the Army Corp...

Second stay, same spot and the host was very accommodating. Bathrooms were not great near us at the end by B1, just ok and one women's was locked for some reason, some guys kept using the women's to take showers in while my wife wanted to use them.

The campground was well kept and the bathrooms were clean. Our four-year-old enjoyed watching the trains and barges (we did, too). If you need anything, several stores are only a couple of miles away. The campground caretakers were super kind and very attentive.

We stay at this campground several times a year. It is one of our favorite places to stay. The sites are level, large and have picnic tables (some are covered), fire pits, extra vehicle parking and most have trees for shade. There is a playground, boat launch and group shelter. There are waterfront sites and wooded sites on the opposite side. The bathroom/shower facilities are usually clean, but not always spotless. It's the perfect place to camp with dogs as there are lots of places to walk them. We use our Lifetime Senior All Access card and camp for half price so it's really a bargain. We love Aux Arc.
