What Guests Are Saying
Aux Arc park offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious sites and friendly attendants. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views of the Arkansas River, and proximity to local amenities, including dining and shopping in Ozark. While some noted noise from trains and occasional inconsiderate neighbors, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Site was trashy from the previous occupants. It was also uneven due to tree roots.

Beautiful location on the river. Bathrooms were not well maintained. Found feces in the shower. Yuk! Probably will not come here again.

We love Aux Arc park and camp there often. I would normally give my stay at this beautiful, relaxing park 5 stars. However some campers in the park made it a less pleasant stay and without full time attendents this time of year, they were able to break some rules regarding pets. The campers had two very large dogs and they did not keep them on a leash. They barked loudly for most of the stay and I witnessed a lady jogging and getting almost knocked down by one of the large dogs jumping all over her and barking in her face (very big dog/Great Dane size), the owners came out and couldn't get a hold of the dog, he ended up accousting the lady twice and then took off running in the woods. The owners gave up trying to catch him and the dog came back to the campsite after sometime being loose in the park. The campers had a hard time controlling their dogs during the trip and it made for a less than perfect experience with all the noise of them barking so loudly day and night. I am all for taking your pets camping with you, I love all the fur babies, but it's common courtsey to make sure your pet is comfortable and under control and not impacting the campers around you.

Nice park and campsite. Water was frozen, but it was 16 degrees. We enjoyed our overnight stay here.

We had reservation Dec. 3rd and 4th. Our reservation was for site D009. The power would not stay on and we couldn't contact anyone to help us. I had to book a different site so we could have power our 2nd day. We love to stop here on our trips it's one of our favorite parks on our trips. Think you need to be aware of that site. Other than that our stays were good. On our way home I had to book 2 nights also but only needed one night. Good price so no problem.
