Aux Arc park offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious sites and friendly attendants. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views of the Arkansas River, and proximity to local amenities, including dining and shopping in Ozark. Everything is excellent here the campgrounds are clean and will kept. There's plenty of room to park your camper the spaces are large. I only have one complaint some nosy body Karen called to the office and told them that she hadn't seen me in a couple days and they should check on me. I'm a day sleeper so when the man came and knocked on my door at 9:00 in the morning it's the same thing as somebody knocking on your door at 3:00 in the morning. She said she hadn't seen me but the previous day I had spent two hours chasing down a vacuum leak in my engine. The day before I was gone for two and a half hours at the store. The day before that I was replacing my heater hose for 3 hours. The campgrounds fine I just wish people would mind their own business.

The people that run the place were awesome, and super friendly. The camping 🏕 spots were spacious and I loved the chiming of the church bell 🔔 clock! The sunsets 🌅 were pretty too!

Nice place. The Corp need to cut brush along F section. Growing up. Hard to see River and that is what folks want to see..the RIVER, not old brush.

I stayed here on Memorial Day weekend. I was at the primitive campsite (no water/electricity.). It did have a table and fire pit.
The area was well maintained. The people before us moved the table, but it was fine where it was. The site is next to the river and has a small dock to fish off of.
Our site was close to the boat ramp/paring and restrooms. The restrooms had a shower with hot water.
When you come, bring firewood. There are a few places in town (5 min drive), but not many. If you need ice or visit the grocery store, it is only 5 min away.
There are also some restaurants nearby if you don’t want to cook.
You will hear the train (the other side of the river) and the church bells, but it is quite other than that.

I really liked this park. Nice to have paved sites. Very cool to be on the bank of the Arkansas River! The train sounds from across the river were interesting to someone who rarely hears that sort of thing. I wish that I'd looked at the map while selecting my site, as I was was right in the middle and both bathrooms were an equally long trek.
