Clean campground. Very nice sites. Being near Mt Magazine, but somewhat primitive was exactly what we were looking for.

It was a beautiful time around the lake. Cool weather, hooting owls and bugling elk! Few campers during the week. Hike around the lake was also very quiet, no other hikers...trail head might be better marked from the campground side. Just a restful few days lakeside!
