The park is easy to access from a main road, is beautiful and the restrooms are the cleanest I ever experienced at a campground. One can choose to be waterside or secluded in a forested loop.

Thr park is clean, easy to access, has warm showers and varied camping. One can chose to be waterside or secluded in a forested loop.
The park hostess is the best I have ever met. She is always available, knows her park, keeps a watchful eye on the park and truly cares about her campers.

The hostess at Rising Star Campground was warm and welcoming - just what we needed after 10 hours of driving. She made sure we had all the info we needed about the campground. The facilities were maintained extremely well. It is a beautiful campground right on the Arkansas River.
