Park is well maintained. It has a lot of room to play and has a nice playground. Plenty of shaded areas. We'll be returning.

Facilities well maintained, friendly staff. It stormed while we where there but knowing the bathrooms served as tornado shelter give us a peace of mind.

Super nice campground kind of off the beaten path. Large rigs can fit in C loop easily but some of the sites are a hard turn off of the road. We're 42' and got into the hardest one but had to go back and forth a few times. The camp host is AMAZING!

This is a wonderful riverside campground. It is made even better by Tanya. She helps make everyone's stay perfect and shows a real concern for all. Tanya, thanks for everything. I hope you found a good home for the little lantern. We hope to be back someday, Linda and Philippe

I stayed at Rising Star as a one night stopover during my travel through Arkansas. However, I wished I had more time to spend there. Hosts were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Restrooms and showers looked new and very clean. The grass and shrubs was manicured and site was clean. Great camping next to the Arkansas River. I hope to return in the future.

The place had a stinky smell when we got there but the next morning it was fine. No soap in the bathrooms so bring your own. It was quiet and not many campers.
