Snowbird trip south we stopped at Rising Star. Nice small campground with new bathroom and shower house. The camping spots open in the winter are back among the trees and somewhat protected from the winds. It is about 10 miles from pine bluff and 15 miles to walmart. Their is a camp host on site full time so it makes one feel pretty safe camping here. Plenty of fishing right on the campground with river flowing past. Large casino in pine bluff if you enjoy that. Town of pine bluff not doing well. Camp host did not recommend to much in town. Black top road to campground was in decent shape with some damaged spots.

I tried to give an excellent rating on the previous page, but it would not let me. Excellent place, hidden jewel of a campground. Manager Tonya was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
