We have stayed here a couple of times, it’s a convenient stop for us on our route to the NW & back. Shaded sites on the Arkansas River. Only two toilet / shower stalls so better if you’re self contained.

Weeds were everywhere and needed to be cut, couldn’t walk on the high grass because full of ticks.

Quiet and peaceful campground. Mosquitoes were kinda bad, but that’s the outdoors for you… Definitely would stay again at the park. Only thing that I didn’t like was at the dump station, the sewer flush water hose didn’t have a hose connection to attach to the RV.

Beautiful place. Great sunset.
Try to put up your tent before the dusk - to avoid dealing with mosquitoes and mayflies.
(We got there at sunset and it was gorgeous but we got bitten up)
Bathrooms were a bit of a walk from our site 1-2 min … so I would stay closer to that bathrooms. (The bathrooms were pretty buggy though it’s expected)

Stayed overnight, sites are paved and level I was in #2. Endured some serous rain storms the night I was there. I'm guessing there had been lots of rain before my stay because ground was very soggy, trailer tires sunk into the ground at the corner of my side when backing into it. Bathrooms clean, I did not use the shower facility so cannot speak to them. I was disappointed with the dump station, could not flush my black tank because no nossle connection available only a water spout.

Booked a camping trip for 2 days! Showed up and the bugs were so bad they literally COVERED our tent!!! Bugs outside are normal but these were so bad my kids wouldn’t get out of the car!! We requested a refund to go somewhere else but never received one!! However we did end up going to greers ferry lake which I highly recommend!!

Was a wonderful quiet week. Sites are always taken care of and bath houses are nice for what they are. We have reservations for July again. The gate staff was very pleasant to visit with too. And made sure we were happy with our stay.
