Carden Point is accessible via State Highway 60, which connects to Plainview.

- Off-road vehicles not permitted. Highway legal transportation only.
- Picnic shelter users must pay the day use fees to swim or use the boat launch
- Group Shelters are Day Use Only. Camping is not allowed at group shelters.
