The hosts Don & Joy do such a great job with Horseshoe Bend Campground. The facilities are always clean, each campsite is well taken care of, free of debris and trash. They are very friendly and engaging, always seem to be checking on everyone and making us feel safe when we are there

We were in 139 right next to the lake. The overall experience was excellent, however, this particular spot was sketchy due to the drop off right next to the entrance to the camper.

We camped for the weekend at the park with friends. I was a little bit disappointed that we didn’t see the park rangers much.

Area was clean and electric was readily available. Plenty of tables and access was great. It had a play ground next to it with plenty of shade. It had ample parking space and close to the water. The whole family liked it!!! Will come back for another family reunion picnic next year if not sooner.

The staff there is wonderful. The lady who works the booth is a gem. She went out of her way to help get us settled. Our only issue was the really hilly terrain. I have SPS and getting from camp to the water was very tricky. Need to find a flatter area next visit.
