The bathrooms were filthy, horrendous conditions, barely work. The hot water was lukewarm at Best.
All the sites need addressing with touchup asphalt, updated gravel, and landscaping to improve the sites. It looks like the original sites from 50+ years ago the help staff have no supervision. It shows in the park, especially park in Attendance better guidance with customer relations

Lake water level extremely low. Dry lake bed is not as picturesque as park is advertised. Sites are other end of the park have much better views. Only had electrical. Water hydrant was across the street & at dump station but that is not the same. Staff were kind & helpful. They, husband & wife team, are just overwhelmed. Is conveniently located to Crystal Bridges Museum which was my reason to be in the area. Would only stay here again if water level was back to normal & if they have, at least, water & electric at a 50amp site.

The bathroom could use a bit of an upgrade. We went to the World Champion Squirrel Cook Off. I highly recommend attending. There was a burn ban and could not cook out, lack of readiness not knowing, so we ate at the Wagon Wheel Cafe and it was very good and the staff was amazing.

The park ranger with the beard had me move my car half on half off - the lady ranger didn’t matter to her others were parked half on and half off and he didn’t make them move - the site holds 2 vehicles my husband’s vehicle is an extended 250 ford once he came each night I didn’t have anywhere to park my cousin let me park at there site I normally get this site 3-4 times a year this is the first time I’ve had issues

The campsite was as announced in the website. However, given the price I expected a cleaner space and fewer bugs that when one camps in the middle of the forest. The tree next to the campsite was covered in bugs, not sure what was attracting this many. The worst part was that ticks were raining down from the tree. We decided not to risk it and left as early as we could. This may have been a situation specific to that one campsite but it will definitely affect my decision of coming back to this park.

From Rogers, AR, take Highway 264 east for 4.5 mi. Turn right on Cow Face Road. After a mile, turn left on Hickory Creek Road. The park entrance sign is on the right after about a mile.
