Camp sites are nice and well spaced and the park ranger was extremely helpful. However there is only one very badly maintained shower for the entire campground and the pit toilets are in desperate need of maintenance.

Park is in need of maintenance. Grass had not been mowed and was too tall. Cover over picnic table had old damage and rotten wood that was full of wasp. There was no one at check in station. Had to check in with Park Ranger. He also sprayed the wasp nest. Bathrooms /Showers were cleaned regularly, but need updated. Numerous downed trees that have been down for a long time. The Corps of Engineers needs to take lessons from Arkansas State Parks on how to manage a campground.

The turn around by the boat ramp was a ridiculous waste of time. Now you have a one way lane for 2 possible vehicles to travel on. How about we get a new shower house/restroom facility instead. Some sites with full hook-ups would be nice as well.

The only issue I had was when I booked my site looking at the map site 57 was showing between 60 and 58. When I got there the number indicating despite the actual site was 58 and someone was already there. They explained to me they thought they were in the site that was marked 57 for the map.
Site 57 and 58 have the markers in the wrong place. They need to be switched. It should say 60, 57, 58, 56 per the map. The actual site says 60, 58, 57, 56 . There was
No ranger available to show this to.
Both sides were about the same. The other couple enjoyed their site and we enjoyed ours even though they were the wrong ones thank you.

My family used to love going to Hickory Creek but this last time that we went the showers were disgusting. There was mold on the walls and the water was lukewarm. We would love to come back but if the showers don’t get cleaned we will not be returning

Getting There
From Rogers, AR, take Highway 264 east for 4.5 mi. Turn right on Cow Face Road. After a mile, turn left on Hickory Creek Road. The park entrance sign is on the right after about a mile.
Highway access
Hickory Creek Park is accessible via Highway 264, which connects to other local roads. The nearest major highway is US Highway 71, located approximately 10 miles to the west.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
