We loved the views of the water and it was very pretty. We went in September and the fall foliage across the lake was beautiful already.

We stayed one night at site 094 the Thursday before Labor day weekend so it was not crowded. There was a bit of a walk to the toilet and water pump but not horrible. Toilet facility is small which would matter if busy. No shower. Would be smart to bring water. The campsite was nice. It appears secuded in the pics but isn't, if that matters to you. The boat ramp is close but not overly close. 30 amp site, we had the wrong plug but did ok with the 110V for just one night. Pretty lake and overall the site was fine for us. There was some poison ivy growing in the cracks of the slab for the picnic table so be careful.

The restrooms & showers are not adequate for the number of campsites! The "new" restrooms need better ventilation. They are like an oven this time of year!
Loved everything else. Great views of the lake! Campsites were clean.

We've been staying on this campground occasionally for decades. It's very good for a Corps campground. The shower buildings could use some updating, but other than that this is a great campground!

Great park! Large and lots of area to walk and ride bikes (if the weather wasn’t so hot!!). Many of the sites out on the peninsula have great water views and shade!

When we got to our site there was an RV setup with multiple cars right next to us. And they had a wire cage outside with 5 dogs in it and the cage stayed outside for the entirety of our stay. The dogs barked non-stop for 3 days till they left. The park was also under a burn ban but we noticed everyone around us all enjoying camp fires every day and night. Clearly there was no campground host here. If there was a host, they NEVER once came through checking on the camp. We never saw any park rangers come through either. Its really frustrating that we followed the rules while everyone else didn't. And our site, 133, did not have a pad for tent camping unless the 6 ft of gravel next to the cement table was the pad, which is way too small for 90 percent of tents. We had to setup our tent on the side of a hill right near the road so we were even closer to the inconsiderate people with terribly behaved dogs. I'll never go back to this campground, go elsewhere!
