You guys have cut back on taking care of the park and it shows. It’s a damn shame that the nicest park on the lake can not be in trusted to people responsible for making sure our parks are supreme.
Take care of OUR freaking parks!

Nice place with nice views. The fire pit works well and can allow for wood and coals. The playground is good for smaller children ranging from 3 to 10. Wasps are out and making nests in the parent's seating area, be careful! The shower was ok but lacked basic features like a bench and shelving for soap, clothes, etc. One basically can't bring anything in the shower without placing it on the floor and the single hook on the door. The lake was dirty due to flooding and damn openings with floating logs everywhere so fishing was not quite good at all. The campsite was ok at 92 but there are trees with rot overhead in the camping area. Deadfall is super dangerous if not caught and taken care of by trimming or removal. It's a risk even with green trees but this tree had some obvious rot and existing branches broken off above the site. Overall, it was a great experience and there are plenty of choices to pick a great camping site.

Great management at the park, loved the site, except for the mud (grass dead due to flooding last year. We will be back. Now for the only issue--Dump Station was down--this is a very big issue for RV's. A lot of RVs are loaded to the max and to pull out with a full black/brown tank is a very unsafe situation that a lot of RVers would not think about.

This park is one of our favorites. There are many things to do including biking, boating, swimming, and kayaking. There is a marina on site. The bathrooms were clean. There are several vault toilets and several flush toilets. There are showers at one of the bathhouses. There is a beach but no lifeguards.

Keith at the gate shack was awesome, he made sure we made it into our campsite with no issues and was very accommodating. Other than the first 2 days being cold and windy, myself and my group had a wonderful time!
