Quiet campground. Overall a nice campground. They need a new shower house! The existing one in the area we stayed had one flush toilet and 2 shower stalls, and there is no place to put your belongings to keep them dry while you shower.

The campground itself is always clean and well-kept. The only issues I have are: I wish there were more spickets for water access. Having to drive to a water spout is greatly inconvenient.
Also, bathrooms are very scarce and there are only two shower houses in the whole campground and they are both in rough shape.
Overall, our camping experience was good. The little cove we camped in this year was quiet and peaceful, not too much boater traffic and people were chill and respectful 90% of the time.

The only downside is not having water at the campsite. We love that we can get a spot right on the lake. We have a long 5th wheel, so a lot of the sites won't work for us, as many have a steep decline into the site and tight turns on some. I have a handicap scooter and husband has an e-bike. With the park being so big, we can go for long rides. Made reservations just this afternoon to go back there later this month.

Good access to lake from multiple points in the park.
Our site was level and easy to access (124) with afternoon shade.
Woyuld definitely go again.

We had site 159. it had a great view of the lake. the bad: it is listed as a double site, therefore it disallowed my America the Beautiful pass for discount. There is absolutely no way to get 2 campers in there. it needs to be changed. also, it should be noted on the website that there is a huge elevation change to the site from front to back. I have a lot of clearance between my truck bed and bottom of 5th wheel and we almost hit going over the top as we backed down. Many people could do a lot of damage to their equipment. this should definitely be noted on the site. We had obtained 158 for our traveling comrades and they couldnt get into it for the same reason. Luckily we were able to change their site, although it was a distance away.
