One of our favorite campgrounds in NWA, we do wish that there was a notice that the water is shut off for winter months. Also no dumpsters durring winter months.

The campground is beautiful, especially the spots by the lake.
Who in their right mind decided it was a good idea to shut the water off for the entire campground for the winter AND NOT TELL ANY OF THEIR GUEST UNTIL THEY ARRIVE. We arrived in the dark only to find our water hookups were shutoff. Next day found a small sign that said they do not offer water during the winter (no light for us to see in the dark). Should either offer water during the winter (which is what they absolutely should do) or B at least tell their guests no water is available. Their sign said no water from Nov thru March. Their site lies to you! It says water hookups, not true in the winter.

This campground has winter camping sites. I have camped there early Spring and late fall when other campgrounds are closed. It’s good to have this option. There’s electricity at standard sights but not water.

Beautiful. We camped off-season so the prettiest sites weren’t open, but still loved it so much we walked around and picked our favorite site, then booked for spring 2022! Can’t wait!

We camped on site 109, right ON the water. Absolutely beautiful, secluded site.
We’re thankful that Horseshoe Bend is open for camping throughout the year; didn’t miss the showers or bathrooms from Nov. 1 - March 31.
