We come here every year and camp in the same spot. I made reservations for our spot about 2 months ago. When we arrived a couple of hours early we were told the spot would be a little tight. Then told the people in the spot were still there. No problem since we were early but then were told we could pick from several other spots that were spots we did not want. The people in our spot were at home over an hour away and would not be able to return until at least 3 check out time and would not be out until around 4. Apparently they were buddies with the attendant and were hoping we would take a different spot so they would not have to move. The camper in our spot was bigger than ours so we knew it was not “too tight” like the attendant said. We refused to change spots so the attendant called the folks in the spot. The man showed up and moved the trailer across the road from our spot and left close to 4. He did not return until Friday night (Thursday was our arrival time) . The trailer had been parked in our spot for a couple of weeks according to the attendant but the check out date on his tag said leaving the 16th and we arrived the 27th. The man apparently left the camper there for the week and hoped we would not come in for the spot. My problem is that we made a reservation for a reason, this was our favorite spot and it was big enough to accommodate our big family. This man had gone home an hour away and did not plan to move out of our spot hoping we would not take it and he was working with the attendant. The attendant should have told him to vacate the spot because it was reserved or at least be available to move it out on time. We did get in right at check in time but I really think it was fishy that they tried to get us to move when we were legitimately reserved and had already paid for the spot.

Very well maintained and well situated campground. Beautiful setting with excellent access to activities, points of interest and services. We will return to this campground.

Nice campground on the edge of Rogers. Much shade, lots is space between sites. Pads are level, ours had water & 30A which worked flawlessly.

Nice quiet campground. Could use some hiking trail maintenance, but we enjoyed our stay.

Over all the experience was great. We during the burn ban so we were able to have a fire but we made the most of the experience and brought lots of light. The bathrooms were a little dirty and there wasn’t soap but we’d brought our own for hand washing and one of the playgrounds is a little dated but with less funding for state parks that’s not surprising. Overall we’d definitely go again.

Had a great stay, the only thing was we would have like to have had a fire, but the was a burn ban. Which was no fault of the park. The attendant was very nice and very helpful. But overall we had a great time, will definitely stay again.

The campground host did not check up on the campground very much. We had three groups of campers that stayed at 96, 97 and 98. They gathered at site 96 and partied hard. They stayed up until 1:00 am drinking and yelling and screaming. They were drunk. There were 4 cars that were allowed to park at one site. Even though there was a burn ban they had a campfire. There are no Rangers on duty between 10 pm and 6 am during the off-season months (per the host). Two nights later a similar situation occurred again but thankfully not as bad. The campground is close to town and must be a good party site especially for those sites farther away from the host. The next day the host said to just call 911. He said you could also come up and get him until about 1 am and he would help. We were in a tent.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
