What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience, with clean facilities and a lovely location by Beaver Lake, perfect for outdoor activities like boating and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, helpful staff, and the amenities available, including a marina and restaurant. However, some campers noted issues with poorly marked trails, uneven sites, and maintenance concerns, particularly with exposed hazards and cleanliness. Overall, it remains a favored destination for many.

What a nice place! We camped on a ridge overlooking the lake and it was on of the nicest views ever. The campsite was huge and very private. This is a well maintained campground that is super convenient, being so close to Rogers. Excellent phone signal (ATT). There are plenty of places to shop and eat nearby, but it feels like you are miles from civilization. The staff is very friendly and they make regular rounds to keep an eye on things; We shall return!

We enjoyed the campsite as a whole but for our particular site, the picnic table and fire pit were on the back side of our RV. This was unfortunate. We also could not get ahold of the campsite by phone under any circumstance before, after or during. We called and called day in and day out. We will not be returning.

Some of the sites are harder to get into then others, on a hill, curve, etc. Our site was 56 & it was on a hill and somewhat hard to get into. Also park ranger says you need at least 1-2 wheels of truck on your spot. It was peaceful, and they have several playgrounds for the kids. The swimming area is nice, a rocky beach, we were able to walk to it from this site. There is only one shower house though, but it was taken care of with bench seat and plenty of hooks for clothes/bags. Overall a nice place & already have a spot reserved for Oct.

Pad was a little tilted but not too bad. Shaded area. Easy enough to get my 30 ft. A class in and out of. Pleasant neighbors. Cicadas are loud! Pretty warm and humid in August but expected that. Amazing mountain bike trails around Bentonville and Bella Vista!

Staff was very helpful with any questions. Each camping site was clean and user friendly. We had a great view of the lake and enjoyed hiking the trail, a few downed trees made it memorable. After a busy weekend, the bathrooms were full but they were cleaned the next morning and all was good. Would stay and plan to stay there again.
