Site 39B well located. Short walk to bathrooms and showers. Not close to power station to hear noise. During our stay had no noisy neighbors. Spot was shady and easy to back into. Close to lake for fishing and short walk to beach area. Only downside was view of marina directly across the lake rather than mountain.

Nice site, but kids running through our site. Next door there were 5 cars parked in a site, one was so close to my RV I couldnt get into my compartments. He kept locking his doors until I had to go out and ask him to stop. There is no one who patrols the area to keep people in check. Dogs off leashes, I could keep going. It was not a pleasurable experience.

Dogs our neighbors had little dogs they let them run loose and piss on my tent and rug. They had to walk by us to go to the restroom and the dogs just run lose and poop on the way so we had to watch where we walk.

Check your tent pad for drainage. A flooded tent pad is no fun.
The kayakers of the group had fun. Poor signage on the hiking trail meant an out-and-back when the trail just disappeared.

Beautiful camp spot, plenty of amenities such as many picnic areas and playground area. Nearby restaurant as well and marina if you have a boat. Drive is about 30 minutes to Hot Springs National Park, which is also the nearest large city, so not too far. Phone service is great. Showers and bathrooms are clean and close to campsites.
