What Guests Are Saying
Brady Mountain Campground offers beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for family camping trips. Many visitors praised the stunning lake views and the friendly campground hosts. However, some noted dated bathrooms and occasional disturbances from neighboring campers, as well as a lack of water hookups, which could be improved for a better experience.

Had a great time with family in spite of a few bad weather days but made the most of it.
The only "negative" was the constant noise while trying to sleep at night from the sewer treatment plant all five nights we camped.

Beautiful campground. I'll always remember this campground for the birds flying around singing oh-no.

Site 53: Pros-There are only 4 well spaced out sites OUT on the peninsula, 53, being the best having some shade trees. The view of the lake is beautiful & you get awesome sunrises & sunsets. 2 sinks available at bathhouse for washing dishes. Cons-You can NOT drive to or park on your site. You have to carry in ALL your gear, about 100 yards. There is a water treatment facility about 150 yards away that runs 24/7 going on & off about every 20 minutes. It is very loud & VERY annoying. The wind is brutal. Be sure your tent is well staked & any awnings. We had gust well over 45 mph. during a storm. There was no water or soap at the bathroom sinks. Store closes at 4:30 & does NOT sell firewood. There is a Dollar General & Velero gas station at the turnoff for the park. Velero sells block ice. Closest grocery store is back at Hot Springs.

This was a great location. It was really windy from the lake breeze which we could of done without so we were cold but the views were fantastic. We have plans to go back in August with the grandkids to stay at the beach swim area.

We had bikes stolen. Wish there were full hookups, park host are extremely nice and helpful. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. I would return.

We stayed in the tent sites near the campers swim beach. The campground is nice and the lake is beautiful. If you stay in these sites make sure you are ready for some potential wind and your tent can handle it. When we stayed here the wind picked up during a storm and never let up. We ended up dropping the tent and sleeping in the car. Multiple tents were damaged.
The campground generator is near by and goes off throughout the night. You can sleep through it but it's not the quiet sounds of the lake you were likely camping here for. This is a nice campground but I wouldn't stay up near the campground swim beach if storms are in the forecast.

Only complaint is that there are no water hookups! It's a beautiful campground though!

Campsites do not have water hookups. You will need to fill your water tank near the entrance at the dump station before proceeding to your campsite. |
