What Guests Are Saying
Brady Mountain Campground offers beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for family camping trips. Many visitors praised the stunning lake views and the friendly campground hosts. However, some noted dated bathrooms and occasional disturbances from neighboring campers, as well as a lack of water hookups, which could be improved for a better experience.

Campsite 52
The bad
#1 - There is a water treatment plant that turns on and runs in 20min intervals then turns off, rinse repeat, forever. This noise pollution can give light sleepers trouble, suggest bringing ear plugs.
#2 - Fire Ants, they were in the camp site and around the picnic bench.
#3 - Windy, one of the five days we had heavy winds 40+mph with 60mph gusts for 16 hours non-stop. These winds make setting up a tent very difficult, be sure to secure your rain fly and stake it down taunt. Expect stakes to have a hard time going in, felt like pounding through quartz.
#4 - Facilities had plenty of hot water but ran out of soap, bring your own.
#5 - Walk-in site means hauling your gear 50 yards. There is a parking lot for vehicles and the campsites are blocked off by large boulders / pylons so you can't drive up and unload, you must carry your gear.
The Good
#1 - Beautiful location, basically have private lake access and stairs down into the water. Probably the best place to watch the sunset in the entire camp.
#2 - The water is extremely clean and cold but not frigid, I'd ballpark it at 64 degrees.
#3 - High of 84 and low of 60 meant the weather was absolutely perfect!

The only negative is the equipment in and around the end of the loop in sites 45-62. It cycles on and off throughout the day and night and makes a loud noise. Don't we come here for peace and quiet? You won't find it here in the particular area of this campground.

Campsite was nice. Close to the restrooms. Pad not very big. Only big enough for one 6 and one 3 person tent. Pads a little closer together than we would’ve wanted. Good lake access on a little cove. No water spout on site. But again close enough to the restroom/ showers. Kids had a good time exploring. Lots to check out. Parking close to sites so you don’t have to carry your gear to far either.

Roy and Faye are tremendous toast… Our site was clean and our experience was wonderful… The bathrooms were clean… But liked soap.
We always enjoy Brady Mountain campground… Our pontoon is parked in the marina… A bit expensive in the oldest part of the marina

Campsites do not have water hookups. You will need to fill your water tank near the entrance at the dump station before proceeding to your campsite. |
