Walking paths down to the river downstream of the swimming pond would be nice as it would be a place to let the dog play in the water.

We always enjoy camping at Charlton. The park always looks nice and is well maintained. Looking forward to going again soon!

We stayed in B loop close to the bathrooms. It’s a beautiful campground and the river is really nice. The b-loop showers had very low water pressure and the water was too hot for my kids to shower in. We had to use the c-loop showers, which had good pressure, but the water temperature would get cold every few minutes. The facilities could use a refresh but, overall, were fairly clean.

Very peaceful camp ground. We did not use the bathroom facilities so can not review that. We didn’t need the campsite grill but want to put that it’s completely broken off onto the ground just in case someone books and needs it. AT&T and Verizon phone service is very hit or miss. We ended up having to put our starlink out.

This place was so disappointing. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, and the handicap shower stall did not work at all.
We had to cut our stay short because our neighbors were the absolute worst. The camp host ended up calling the police on them because there were so many complaints. This is not the place for holiday camping if you’re sober individual.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site types & loops
- C-Loop campsites 11-19 offer no electrical or water services, but community water spigots are available.
