Water pressure was extremely high. Used a regulator without a gauge and had the hot water tank pressure relief valve open open to release pressure. It is a 120 psi valve. After switching to a gauge type regulator the relief valve reset. Be aware. All the “bear proof trash cans” have been removed and a single dumpster is the only trash receptacle in the camping area.

Very nice camp spot! Our spot was shaded all day. The bathrooms were right across the way and kept clean. It was a quiet weekend, only one other family besides us. The swimming hole was cold and busy as always.

Easy to get to. Bathhouse was clean and spacious. We were in 9C and it was great! Lots of room and plenty of parking for two vehicles. Very clean park. All the spots in C loop were very shady with FHU, tent pad, grill, picnic table, fire pit and asphalt parking pad for camper. Close to Hot Springs but in the country. Campground had a wonderful swimming hole with diving platform, picnic tables and cold clear water. Will will definitely stay at this federal park again anytime we visit Hot Springs.

The site has a picnic table, smaller high table, grill, fire pit, poles with hooks, two water spigots, and electrical hookup. You can hear the creek at night which was incredibly peaceful. The bath house has a men’s room , women’s room with two toilet stalls and a shower, and one individual bathroom with a shower in the middle. The bathroom was clean, stocked, and trash was taken out very regularly.
I would recommend this campground.
