Crystal Springs is always a favorite! We were out there for the total eclipse, and the campground was perfect.

The sites and campgrounds was clean, restrooms cleaned everyday and stayed clean. Because of the time we visited, during the eclipse, it was very busy. More than two vehicles at spots including us, but everyone stayed out of the road and were no problem so no ranger intervention needed.
We left a day early because of the storms moving into the south toward FL (home) and wanted to be ahead of them. A ranger phoned us and verified we left the site and checked us out. To my surprise we received a refund. Thank you. Great campground and AR is a beautiful state.

Camp site was fantastic! Large site, easy pull-through for my pop-up camper, water and electric hookups. Very pretty views. Bathroom was convenient and clean. The light at the bathroom was obnoxiously bright at night, but that's the only complaint.

Site 39 was very difficult to level. The beach and playground was great for the kids. Close to Hot Springs

Very nice location on the water but the sites are too close together. We enjoyed having the trailhead right in the park. Bathhouse was clean and up to date.
