If you are looking for quiet and solitude, 29b is not the place. But there are many, many beautiful campsites at this campground.

Camp site was good, although kind of close together. Bathrooms were okay. We had a great time and will likely return.

We had a great time at Crystal Springs Camp Ground for Memorial Day! We were at site 18A. It was right on the water and very clean! No campsite/neighbor on one side so very private and plenty of parking for visitor’s. The sun does set on the side the site is at so the late afternoon/evening is toasty!

Great place to stay with grandkids. Only complaint is; I have a 38 foot motor home and the tree limbs overhanging the road to the dump station scratched the sides. Trees need trimmed. State road from 270 to park also have low hanging branches.

We absolutely enjoyed Crystal Springs, from the campsite and views to the hiking. The restrooms were clean as was the campground. The day before we left I had read some negative reviews regarding no internet or TV service and unlevel RV sites but we don't go camping to watch TV or play on the computer and to us the RV sites were beautiful. We can't wait to go back.

Our spot was amazing! The campsite was in a great location with a great view of the lake and a small swim beach where the kids could get in! Clean bathrooms as well!

Crystal Springs campground is a wonderful place to stay. The campsites are spacious with nearly every site being lakeside or lake view. We have stayed here multiple times at different sites and every time felt we had "the perfect spot."
There are plenty of trees for shade or to toss up a hammock. You can launch a kayak steps from your campsite or go for a run or hike on the LOViT trail. Bring your boat and spend the day on the water, which is the largest lake inside Arkansas, and clean and clear due to limited development allowed on its shores.
They have recently renovated a good portion of this campground.
Go visit Shangri-la cafe, past Tompkins Bend campground, right on the lake. The restaurant has been in operation since the mid 1950s and is like going back in time. They will fry up your fresh-caught fileted fish or you can buy some fried catfish that was just swimming in Lake Ouachita. Their pies are famous.
