Clean facilities, easy access, great place for our first camping experience. So glad we had a 30A to 50A cord as our RV is 30A and the park power is 50A only. No problem!

It didn't feel like a recreational park, It seemed like everyone lived there fulltime. People were not friendly and as black folks, we didn't feel very welcome entering the state especially when they just stared at us like zoo animals. We were scheduled to stay for 4 days but instead, we left the day after we arrived. The site we stayed in #11 was really unleveled and half of the park was taped off which put a bunch of people close together but other than that it was a nice park on the lake.

Very clean bathrooms. Each campsite had water front - maybe about 3 or 4 did not. Great beach and playground area. We went in the winter time would definitely be back during summer to actually swim.

We were only there a night - just a stop on our journey - but the campgrounds were nice and lovely. My only issues was the pad was not level and there was not a clear place from which to purchase firewood. We could've missed it coming in, but it wasn't obvious from the gatehouse. We do want to come back and try for several more nights when we have more time!

Crystal Springs is one of my favorite Recreation areas on Lake Ouachita. Spacious campsites, on the lake front. Clean rest rooms and flat campsites. Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons. Close access to all the attractions in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mid America Science Museum is the greatest for the kids.
