$14 primitive site was such a great value. Great access to swimming within this loop. Shower house and bathrooms weren’t subject to any type of cleaning routine. Location is great for exploring Hot Springs and Ouachita National Forest. RV sites are tightly spaced but the two primitive sites in this loop had plenty of room. Raised tent beds and full shade made for a great site. Mosquitoes are prevalent. Cell service was adequate. Would definitely stay here again.

Was very disappointed in cleanliness of beach area where kids play and enjoy water. Grassy area had not been mowed (June 2-15). I know you know about geese in area but really need fix to move geese to new home. They wit not leave on their own because of food sources.

Campground was nice and they had a good beach area with a good play equipment for the kids. The bathrooms were ok but needed some repairs/updates; they were cleaned well daily. Camp sites are well designed and maintained.

We were tent camping, mistake. Generators running all night, RVs with flood lights and strung lights left on all night. I could read a book in the middle of the light there were so many lights out on the RVs around us. Music blaring from stereos. Etc etc.
Tents were not a good fit for the scene going on there.

The site we reserved was not on the water, like it showed it being on the map. The site was so unlevel, that even up on three blocks, my front end was still so dangerously slanted below my back end, that I didn’t feel safe in the spot with a motorhome. I changed spots by calling the reservation line because the woman at the gate couldn’t change spots, or assign spots, or even write tags apparently, as she just handed me a blank tag to do myself when I came in. After my children had been swimming in the swimming area of the lake with children in another site, another camper informed us that there was e-coli in the water. No one had bothered to tell us this. It turned out to be true, as we learned from the man who does the water testing. There was still e-coli in the water when we left and still no signage, verbal warnings or anything else to alert people. There was pink plastic tape around the playground, but nothing around the beach area. It would be super simple to just put up a sign, or for the woman at the gate to warn people.

Nice stay. Very quite. Bathroom facilities could have been cleaner.
