We absolutely loved the views we had here! Waking up to the water was amazing. Highly recommend, clean facilities also!

The park was clean and the view is pretty. We booked our reservation indicating that we had a 40 ft. Fifth wheel. The spot we got was the hardest to back up in than I have ever encountered. The only way to get in was for me to get my truck in a ditch and almost get stuck on a metal culvert. The roads are very narrow. Also the 6 pm check in time is ridiculous. It’s already dark making it more difficult to get into the space. Wouldn’t recommend for large fifth wheel.

It was beautiful, quiet, clean and the hosts and other staff were awesome. The bathroom and shower house was heated and very clean! We can't wait to come back in warmer weather!!

Many of the spaces to close together in area C. Fire pits to close to the camper.

The site was very nice and we would have enjoyed it, but.... Unfortunately, the volunteer at the site decided to use a leaf blower for 6 hours!!! on Christmas Day, totally destroying the peace and quiet that this day should have been about. He should have used this time to better clean the bathhouse, which certainly needed some attention. The sad thing was that he spent about 15 minutes cleaning leaves out of sites and the rest of the time simply blowing them into a big pile and then blowing the pile down a hill. Really???? Totally ridiculous!

We enjoyed a great experience at Crystal Springs Campground over Xmas 2021. The campground is quiet & well kept with many sites having great views of the lake. Electrical & water hook ups were in good shape, the site was level and plenty wide enough.

From Hot Springs, Arkansas, take US 270 west about 15.4 miles to North
Crystal Springs Road. Turn right and follow access road three miles north
to the park.
The campground is accessible via Arkansas State Highway 7, which is approximately 10 miles to the east. Additionally, US Highway 270 is located within 15 miles to the south.
Elevation: 183 feet
7.8 mi drive to downtown Royal (about 11 min)

- No off-road vehicles allowed in park

- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
