I brought my family from Louisiana to spend time after Christmas in Arkansas. The campground was very well managed and kept up. We enjoyed the beautiful views and our stay on the lake. It is a short distance from Hot Springs. We were able to travel back and forth and did not wait time on the roads all day. We had the best of both worlds. We would definitely travel there again!

Looks like a nice campground/recreation area. Unfortunately we had heavy rain the day we were there.
The site we had was hard to get into. The road was narrow with a deep culvert and concrete directly across. The site also has trees very close to the pad on both sides. With some maneuvering we got the sides out but using the awning was not possible.

Had a great time, stayed in 38, it was later in the season so no swimming at the beach. It was quiet, camp hosts was very welcoming as well. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful place! The only thing I would recommend is bringing a tarp to put up between trees to block the wind. We went during winter and plan to come back during the summer months with all of our water toys.
The showers/bathrooms were nice and clean and not far from the camp sites.
