This campground was beautiful!
Bias alert --- State Parks and COE Campgrounds tend to be our preference and this one fit the bill.
Tall trees, reliable hook-ups, soaking up the waterviews and gorgeous fall colors were bonus!
To boot, pretty much every site was waterfront or waterview!
To me, the location was somewhat out of the way, but it was well worth the drive for a very pleasant 3 day stay.

When we arrived someone was in our spot, but they were not there. The camp host was unavailable. We waited for a while and they never showed back up so we parked in another spot till morning. When we went to the camp host the next morning they said it was between us and the persons in our spot. So not so sure a reservation is needed if this is the case!!!!
We drove a couple of hours to get there and if there wouldn’t have been any available spots till morning we would’ve had to drive all the way back home. Just a big inconvenience!!!

It was our first trip with our new travel trailer and its started off our camping adventures off with a bang. Private site, clean bath house and a beautiful setting. Close to mines to enjoy some crystal digging and hot springs for shopping and lots of other things to do. Mosaic crafts business in Hot springs was lots of fun. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for some more adventures.

We stayed at 41C. Site was absolutely breathtaking. We could even keep an eye on our 9 & 10 year old boys who spent most of the time at the beach/playground area. Can’t wait to go back!

It would be nice if the trash containers were a little closer than at the entrance of the loop. Otherwise it was beautiful.
