What Guests Are Saying
Old Post Road offers a clean, spacious, and well-maintained campground with friendly hosts, and excellent river views, making it a favorite for many visitors. Guests appreciated the amenities like the pavilion, boat ramp, and recreational activities, as well as the quiet atmosphere despite some nearby industrial noise. Negative experiences included encounters with rude neighbors and issues with ants, but overall, the positive aspects of the campground's cleanliness and staff support stand out.

Grass was overgrown around all sites. Park not well kept, despite what appeared to be several park attendants/long timers. Will return only for convenience of proximity to area attractions.

When we arrived, the nice lady at the check-in looked at our reservation and the site number. It was 103 degrees and she told us that the site had very little shade and that if we looked at it and wanted to change sites, how to call and make a change sites for a open site. We did this and it was handled very easily by phone in less than 5 minutes and we moved to a great, shady spot. Thanks

Okay, so not to make this long winded or anything BUT let me start by saying IF you enjoy cold cold showers then go ahead and stay...let me also just say there's no where to get firewood unless you pay for a tiny amount not even worth a fire AND the ant problem don't even get me started every site I saw was overrun with fireants and I don't know about you but their bites suck!! I will NOT be returning to Old Post Rd campgrounds.
