What Guests Are Saying
Old Post Road offers a clean, spacious, and well-maintained campground with friendly hosts, and excellent river views, making it a favorite for many visitors. We rented a large pavilion for a youth activity. It was very clean, and well maintained. A grill, water and trash were both available and easily accessible.

We set up the reservation online and received the usual confirmation stuff. However the address they gave was not really an address at all rather a vague address that included Old Post Rd site B Dardanell lake. This sent us into a dead end in a neighborhood. No one was available to contact as we arrived at about 5:00 pm. Had to find another option near lake in another campsite.

Campground is smaller in size, so it’s not overly crowded. Grounds very well maintained. Cell phone service (Verizon) was good. Only complaint was that they needed to treat for ants around the campsites. Ants were everywhere. Ants found their way into our camper. Sitting in our chairs outside, several of us were bitten. When we left I found ants INSIDE my car! A bit of spray or granular treatment would go a long way…and I would have rated higher if not for the ants (not just a few…I’m talking thousands).

The view was amazing! Due to the recent storm our tree was broken with debris around our campsite. The only bad thing was that the grass was not mowed, so it made it inconveniently itchy when going in and out of our tent. Overall a good place to camp out.

Nice park, but the showers are a lawsuit waiting to happen. Water was scalding hot on both men's and women's side, not adjustable. Park hosts were aware of problem for several days.

Mowers came and mowed. Did a good job. It they don’t weed eat would look muncher and clean if they would.

Nice clean well laid out campground with spacious sites.
However the adjacent papermill droned on endlessly, it seemed.
