Campground is very nice. Campground host was very nice. The overall noise from the lock/dam/generator is pulsating and a little disturbing during the night.

The sites are nice, clean, level .
They are back in sites, with good space between rigs.
Close to big park and places to walk the fur baby.
Nice facility for a shower (if needed).

Always enjoy staying at this park. Strong storms came thru our last visit and a park person told us where to go for safety incase of a tornado threat. He actually was going to every site telling folks. It was raining hard, this was commendable to us. We’ve never had this happen in our 30yrs of camping! Plenty of mountain country to see near this location. Mt Nebo, Petit Jean, and Mt Magazine.

Fantastic park! Large sites with great views. Hearing the river flow through the day made me feel I was near the ocean. Will definitely be back!
