Nice campground. The papermill can be a bit noisy and stinky at times. But...It's all good!

this is a beautiful campground along the Arkansas river. The best sites are even numbered 20 to 40 that go right along the river. We were at site 27. Most sites are well shaded. If you want sun, pick sites 16-19. Most sites are level, some are kinda lumpy. but not terrible. 50A service and water, no sewer at the sites but there is a easy access to a dump station. The Camp host is very friendly and responsive to 'issues' ( very noisy/drunk campers, for a couple days ). The bathroom/shower is dated, but clean, well lit and the water is hot. You can sit back and watch the occasional barge go up or down the river as they approach the lock at the dam. which is within easy walking distance. Two small drawback, there is a International Paper Co. a ½ mile away, and you can hear a constant, very low hum. it becomes a 'white noise very quickly. And two, there really isn't much to do in Russellville. Mt Nebo is in Dardanelle, and is about the only attraction there. Stores are near by if you need something. All-n-all we really liked Old Post Campground. If we come back this way, we will be happy to camp here again

Always a good experience. The facilities are always clean, well heated & the showers are kept clean. Only one area that needs addressing and that is the folding seat in the larger shower for the physically impaired. It had a broken hinge making it unusable. I think a better more sturdy design should be investigated.
Camping spots are well kept, power & water supplies have no issues.
Quiet & friendly neighbors. 👍👍

Everything was good except the power from the pedestal was not correctly wired. It caused problems with the electronics in my coach
