What Guests Are Saying

Old Post Road offers a clean, spacious, and well-maintained campground with friendly hosts, and excellent river views, making it a favorite for many visitors. The campground was very clean. The camphost greeted us to check us in very quickly. We enjoyed the nice day use playgrounds. Ranger Jonathan and two other Rangers were treating ants in the day use area and took the time to give our granddaughter a Frisbee reminding her to always wear her life jacket while swimming. We had a great experience

Nice and serene campground right on the Arkansas river. My only complaint is that the campers before us left trash and food in the campsite.

Nice campground. Water on the river was low and no flow so fishing wasn't great this time.
*** ANTS!!! Tons of ANTS!!! be prepared for the army of ANTS that will invade your RV!! Everyone there was complaining about ANTS!!! (We carry Terro Ant Baits, Bug Stop spray, and DE with us! Seems you'll always have some issue with ants no matter where you go!)

We loved staying here as we were passing through Arkansas. The host was very nice and helpful. The sites were very spacious and level. We will stay there again if we are in the area.

Greeted by host upon arrival.. friendly. Clean sites and have a second car parking spot off to the side. Can see and access the Arkansas river. Playground for kids. Dam and lock system just a quick walk. Occasional distant sound and smell from nearby paper factory.
