Guests appreciated the amenities like the pavilion, boat ramp, and recreational activities, as well as the quiet atmosphere despite some nearby industrial noise. Negative experiences included encounters with rude neighbors and issues with ants, but overall, the positive aspects of the campground's cleanliness and staff support stand out.

Great location & area mangers. Facilities were also very good. However, I do have 2 complaints/observations. 1. There is a lack of security in controlling non-patrons having access to the facilities. During my stay there were 2 occasions when non-patrons trashed the facilities during the early hours of the morning leaving an unsanitary mess to be cleaned. 2. The facilities were way too hot. As if the thermostat was broken & locked in the high heat position. Temps were easily in the 90's making it unbearable after just a few minutes.

Loved being next to the river, especially watching the barges going through the locks. The lone restroom facility was at the entrance to the campground, far from most.

Our site on the river was clean and level. The campground is beautiful with a good deal of distance between sites. We felt it was a great campground.

Everything was excellent about this campground except for one issue that can not be corrected. There is a nearby paper mill that has machinery running continually 24 hours a day, The constant drone of low noise is unpleasant.
