i am 70 years old trails could have been maintained better. Need to be vault toilets at the trail head. Views vistas and overlooks were outstanding.

We had a quiet stay on a Sunday evening. Ranger was pleasant, facilities were clean. Our family of 6 stayed the night in tents, then drove to Sam’s Throne in the morning.

Visitor Center worker Anita was patient with me and worked above and beyond to help me figure out the confusing reservation situation the weekend of the Dark Skies and Higland Ozark Society meetings.
