Beautiful place, but the electrical hook up was super fat from the camping pad. Made no sense.

The dump station was closed and we had to make a trip to another park to dump that was out of our way. There wasn’t a park attendant on duty full time and rangers didn’t patrol often. The playground had damage and children could not play safely on the merry go round.

As a camper at Merrisach for over 30 years, I enjoyed the camping and the atmosphere. However, the playground needs updating. The merry go round was broken and the other equipment needs attention. Also, the dump station was closed which caused a major inconvenience for my family and the wear and tear on my camper. We had to pull the camper with a full black water tank over 30 miles to dump at Pendleton campsite. Spring Break is one of the most popular times for Merrisach Lake campsite and I would have expected them to work overtime to make sure their campers could dump when leaving the park. The number of campers were remarkably lower this year and I am certain the dump site being closed was one of the reasons why. This is a beautiful campsite that I would hate to be closed due to poor management.

Beautiful campground full of wildlife and great views! Bathhouses and restrooms were super clean, and the dumpsters were accessible but not so close you could smell them. Bring some cards and a hotspot because you can't pick up any over the air stations and there is NOTHING within 30 minutes of this place! The closest WalMart is an hour away.

Camped during late hunting season, very few campers. The place was very well maintained, camping spots were very spacious. The bath houses were very clean.
