Lots of pretty sites with either lake access or lake view. Very few with water hook-up. Pretty campground

Love this park. Our stay was nice and I would have given our stay here 5 stars had it not been for the conduct of the man at the gate. I forget between trips sometimes how rude and ugly he is to people but I’m always reminded when we arrive. His wife couldn’t be sweeter and you begin to hope she’s at the gate to greet you instead of him. I don’t know why he’s so nasty but it’s the same every year and the same complaint from our neighbors once set up. He is an unhappy man and I hope he finds peace one day.

This campground would have gotten 5 stars Except that the 2 water hydrants available near the lake were both dry . I had a water leak and carried containers to 2 different hydrants only to find neither worked. Another camper took his vehicle to the fill station at the entrance and got water for me. When he returned he told me that the attendant said they had not worked in at least 2 year ! First of all they Should work, but at least put signage up please. It was hot and unnecessary for me to have carried stuff back and forth for no reason. The lots are quite spacious and nice. It was quiet and lovely. I had to use ALL of my blocks to level the Sprinter , so be prepared with plenty of H2o and be prepared to level up. I hope to visit again !

Was surprised there was no water at the sites. Also most of the sites aren’t level which makes it difficult to use auto-leveling system like on a motorhome. Bath house is nice and clean. Good fire rings and tables. Several nice small beach areas around the campground.
