Loved this campsite, being close to the water etc. However, this site is on a slight hill which caused our bumper to drag when backing in. If you have a long camper, be aware when backing in. Some of the nearby sites are more level making it easier to get in and out.

First, I HATE this 100% reservation nonsense. I have multiple health issues and I don’t know if I’ll be able to go tomorrow, much less weeks out. What good are people in the gatehouse if they can’t rent you an available site?
Second, about this stay, the Arkansas Highway Dept was having some kind of training and every morning there was 6 to 10 state trucks parked at the restroom at our end of the park. Two mornings we walked to the restroom and finding it full of men changing and just visiting, we had to walk back to our campsite and drive to the other side of the park, nearly a half mile to find an available stall. Of course at 8 AM there’s no one in the gatehouse. And I didn’t see a ranger the whole time we were there.
Third, we have been on site E7 three times this year and had trouble with the 30 amp breaker tripping. I told the man at the gatehouse as I was leaving and he said he would call maintenance, but it still wasn’t fixed on our last visit.

Extremely hard to get level due to pads being to short and always slanting. It would be nice to see some pad maintenance during the off season. The bath houses at this park are FILTHY.
