What Guests Are Saying
Old Highway 25 is a highly praised campsite with beautiful lake views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for family camping trips. Many guests enjoyed the spacious and well-maintained sites, especially in sections E and G, and appreciated the friendly staff and recreational opportunities. Some concerns were raised regarding water access and maintenance, but overall, the positive experiences and scenic environment lead to a strong recommendation for future visits.

October is a very peaceful time here. It would be nicer if the lake wasn’t extremely low.

Some beautiful sites. Ranger very helpful and friendly and made rounds every day. Camp hosts unfriendly and never saw them in camping areas.
Biggest problem was dumpster. Full of Turkey vultures who pulled garbage out and threw it all around. MAJOR HEALTH HAZARD. Needs either more frequent emptying or closed dumpsters rather than open ones. Needs at least daily policing, sweeping/shoveling of trash, and hosing down. NASTY. If I lived there and frequented park I would call nearest health department. We stayed for 2 weeks.
