What Guests Are Saying
Old Highway 25 is a highly praised campsite with beautiful lake views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for family camping trips. Many guests enjoyed the spacious and well-maintained sites, especially in sections E and G, and appreciated the friendly staff and recreational opportunities. Some concerns were raised regarding water access and maintenance, but overall, the positive experiences and scenic environment lead to a strong recommendation for future visits.

We always enjoy our stay at Old Highway 25! During the summer months we prefer sections E & F. Most of these sites are water front, which makes it nice to pull our boat/Kayaks right up/or near our campsite. In the colder months we prefer section G. Lots of sites in this section have beautiful overlooks, and more tree coverage to offer protection from the cold winds. Reminder to campers, always leave it cleaner than you found it! Those with dogs, even though you are in the woods, it's still a public area and you should still pick up after them, especially when walking them along the water front!

This particular spot to camp made it awkward to camp with a large camper that the site is rated for. The picnic table is on what I consider to be the wrong side of the camper and the site is so narrow that the camper could not be fully extended making shade a premium want for the camp site in the hottest part of the summer.

We were in site G9. This is probably our favorite new camping area. Access to the lake and spacious sites are beautifully appealing. We can't wait to come back!
